The facilities were top-notch, with a stunning view of the Orange River, a serene garden, and a porch to relax on. The staff went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and even printing our C19 results. We enjoyed the company of friendly impalas and springboks. The location was perfect, offering a beautiful view and easy access to restaurants and shopping.
Felt very secure, no reason to complain.

The rooms had everything we needed and a stunning view of the river. The porch with table and chairs was a bonus, and the well-kept garden was beautiful. The staff went above and beyond, even providing an ice bucket for our wine. The location felt secluded, but restaurants and a shopping mall were close by. Unfortunately, we missed breakfast, but it was included.

The staff at the hotel were very professional, yet friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Situated near the river, we enjoyed stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay for us.
The hot water in the shower ran out on the second morning, which was a bit inconvenient. The room was quite sparsely furnished, lacking some amenities that we would have liked to have.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were lovely and well maintained. They had a fridge and a luxury bathroom, which was a plus. The hotel was very clean, and with the air conditioning, I was comfortable even with the scorching 40-degree temperatures. The food in the restaurant was great, both for dinner and the full breakfast. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me and were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel's location was superb, with a beautiful view overlooking a majestic river. The gardens were well maintained, and there were two swimming pools. I also loved that my Yorkie was allowed to run around on the expansive lawn.
I have to say, there was nothing not to like about this hotel.

My husband and I recently stayed at Sun River Kalahari Lodge and we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the place. The lodge is situated right next to the river, with a stunning garden where we spotted some springbok grazing. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities for our convenience. The beds were exceptional - we had the best sleep ever! The breakfast spread was delicious, and we especially loved the coffee, which we agree is the best in RSA. We only stayed for one night, but we could have easily spent a few more days just relaxing in this peaceful and beautiful setting. we highly recommend Sun River Kalahari Lodge for a memorable stay.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sun River Kalahari Lodge and we were delighted with our experience. The room we stayed in was well-equipped and offered a stunning view of the Orange River. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the porch, sipping wine and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing an ice bucket for our wine and ensuring that our room was suitable for my post-operation recovery. The location of the lodge was perfect - it felt secluded and peaceful, yet restaurants and a shopping mall were just a short distance away. Although we unfortunately had to leave early and missed breakfast, we look forward to enjoying it during our next visit!

We had a wonderful time at the lodge. The location was stunning, with beautiful grounds and a refreshing pool. The view of the river was a highlight, especially watching the otter fishing. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We also appreciated the offer for ice from the ice maker, a small but thoughtful touch.
The lack of dinner availability on weekends was unexpected and inconvenient.
